As our RSVP deadline of June 1, 2012 approaches, we just wanted to send out a reminder that you can RSVP online at: http://rsvp.dananderingethitched.com/.
The link is also accesible from the banner at the top of the site ↑. Once on the page, just search for your party by last name and select the correct group. If you have any problems locating your party, please email us.
Even if you responded with a reply postcard (which we have loved receiving), we recommend that you check out the RSVP site, which will allow you to enter the name of any guests and to RSVP for all of the fun, pre-wedding activities, like guys night out, the casual Thursday afternoon volleyball party, and the Friday morning golf tournament. A full list of wedding events and details is available on the schedule page.
If you responded via reply postcard, we have inputted your responses into our database, so you should see your responses reflected on the website, but you will be able to edit your response, add comments, and RSVP for additional pre-wedding activities.

What about the babies?
Though Erin’s Dad doesn’t believe in the “unique snowflake” theory of childrearing, we love little ones and youngins are welcome at the casual volleyball party in Aurora on Thursday afternoon.
For the wedding ceremony and reception, there are a number of child care options available. If you are traveling from out of town and need some help connecting with options, please contact mother-of-the-bride, Wanda Venters explaining your child care needs and she will help arrange something with you.

While the cities are a bit off, I suppose the fact that our family and friends are scattered all over the country makes us good candidates for an extended affair. As everyone starts to plan their summer venture out to Colorado, we wanted to make sure that you know that there will likely be some activities starting as early as Wednesday evening and continuing until Sunday midday. We haven’t worked out all of the details yet (and to be honest, there is lots to plan), but we will be sure to keep you posted on the Schedule page. Please know that you are in no way obligated to attend all (or any) of the various events that will be scheduled around the wedding (we may not be at every event ourselves); we completely understand when vacation days are limited, and we know that everyone has busy lives. But we appreciate that many of you are planning to travel a long way for the event and we want to try to spend as much time with you as possible and to assure you that your time in Colorado will be full of fun outings that you can choose to attend.
Again, from The Knot: “With such a hot list of social opportunities on the weekend’s schedule, you’ve got to keep the folks informed. One option is a newsletter. A cooler option, for those with the skill, is a website.” Well, Dan brought the skill, so we will be using the second option in an effort not to overwhelm your inboxes. But, that does mean that you will need to check back here from time to time to stay in the loop, and no one wants to be out of the loop.
